In this week's blog I am starting a 'Client Spotlight' segment where I highlight a company or individual I have worked with and what services they use with me. The first of these is 'A Peculiar Tea' a fantastic restaurant on University Road in Belfast.
Chef Gemma Austin contacted me about 2 years ago needing a new website for a completely new restaurant called 'a peculiar tea' putting together stunning themed tasting menus and afternoon teas, the like of which Belfast has NEVER seen.
The turnaround on the website was quick as the big opening was coming quickly over the horizon so a 1 page website linking to their 'Dish Cult' booking system was up and running in a few days.
Since then we have developed bit by bit, their menus change every couple of months so the accompanying artwork is added on a regular basis promoting their new theme.
More recently we have added an innovative 'Takeaway Afternoon Tea' option that you can order and pay for online and collect your gorgeous sweet treats and sandwiches from the restaurant. Check it out!
Head Chef Gemma Austin has went on to star in 3 seasons of BBC's show "Great British Menu" showcasing her mind blowing skills on national tv which has obviously elevated the restaurant to a whole new level!
In the background A Peculiar Tea took out their web hosting and email services with NI Designer and we manage all that for them , and it has grown with them, adding additional email and capacity when necessary while also keeping an eye on their traffic which is by quite some distance the biggest audience any NI Designer website has with around 10,000 visits in any given 7 day period!
You too can take out hosting and email packages with NI Designer for your next project, get in touch today!
So check out A Peculiar Tea's website, more importantly, go check out the restaurant, book in and be prepared to be amazed!
Also coming soon is their next venture Mamo Patisserie and NI Designer will also be handling the website design and hosting of this so keep your eyes peeled for that going live in the very near future!
